Who are the presenters of The Rest is Politics?
Alistair Campbell and Rory Stewart are the presenters.
Alastair John Campbell is born on 25 May 1957. He is known as a journalist, author and strategist. He worked as campaign director for Tony Blair and as his spokesman, later he also became the first Downing Street Director of Communications.
Rory Stewart is born on born 3 January 1973. He is a former politician, author and diplomat. He had several ministerial positions. Environment minister, Minister of international development in the Middle East and Asia, Minister of Foreign Office and International Development in Africa, Prisons and probations minister and Secretary of State for International Development.
Stewart and Campbell’s interviews are revealing and inspiring. Leading is an absolute must-listen for anyone interested in leadership, regardless of their field.

Campbell at his egotistical and obnoxious best, taking every opportunity to snipe and criticise everything Tory and conveniently forgetting the many awful decisions and actions he was involved in during 13 years of a Labour government.
What does Stewart add?……Not much, he comes across as Campbell’s lap dog.
The recent podcast, Alistair and Rory talking to Theresa May. Could the pair have presented a more wooden uninspiring and boring ex prime minister?? Theresa must have put some strong conditions on the 2 hour podcast not to be challenged and tested on her shortsighted views. Just one example nothing was mentioned about the Brexit negotiations with the European negotiators, Michel Barnier, what a great man, such a crucial episode in history and a significant chunk of her time in office.
Good evening, new to this podcast and would like to make comment on your Freeport’s discussion. The land that the free port is is being developed on is the old steel works, steel works that were prevented from being rescued by the UK Goverment when SSI was unable to keep the site going by the EU, the site may have cost little per acre but it will gave taken a lit if money to clear the site and make it safe for future use. The sale of the land has been investigated and no case of corruption was found.
Used to enjoy the Labour v Con banter but has become a bit of a Labour love-in
